Out on the water near Jupiter Inlet, just before sunset, everything looked exactly how Florida is supposed to feel.
The lighthouse in the distance. Palm trees lining the shoreline. The sun dropping low over the horizon. Calm water, quiet air, and that kind of peace you do not question.
After a long day of fishing, three people who had spent a lifetime together looked around at it all and said the same thing without needing to think about it.
